Been lurking here and just want to say this site is awesome, sold my little 25' seaworthy/bhm last year, and at least i can get a downeast fix here!

Beautiful BHM! Are you going to buy another DE? Please give me your honest thoughts about the boat as it is one of the best little DE boats from what I have read. I just watched Coast Guard Alaska and it is a dangerous job that they have. It seems from the show that temp., fog, tides, and isolation are major factors when at sea. I want to go to Alaska before I die- it seems to be truly a magnificent paradise.

Thanks Eastporter, I really loved that little boat, no complaints although when I do it again think I would have to go with a minimum of 28', It is a smooth ride great on fuel, could get a little funky in a big following sea but you just had to back of the throttle : ) And you are right Alaska is a wonderful place, lived there for seven years, we are back in NJ looking after aged parents but hopefully we get to go back. It is a place that everyone see should see at least once. I am sure that Stevein AK would vouch for that!

Hi Steve! this site is fantastic, yes i sold my rig to a guy in homer he fell in love with it and it was over. As I said to eastporter we are down south for a while so I am glad someone is useing it instead of it collecting dust on eastend rd. Thanks for the welcome.
