Gunwale water

My 28 BHM has constant resting water on the gunwales.. has anyone cut weep holes in? If so, can you post a picture?thanks

Iv seen a 42 Wesmac with drain tubes installed to allow water run off. Think all you need is the flaring tool.

Yes, I encountered the same thing. My toe rail openings were not at the lowest point. Most, but not all, water escaped from them when moored.
I carefully markecl the low spots while moored, then drilled and epoxied in 1/2" copper elbows (5/8"OD) fluse w/ the deck, then ran 5/8" clear plastic hose aft to the transom where the water exits and goes out the scuppers.
Has worked great for years.

Same. Drilled a 1/2 hole, cored, filled then drilled a 3/8 weep at lowest point. Works fine, gets clogged with lobster skag so Id prob go bigger next time but not too big.
