FOr every one boat I see for sale with the engine under the house. 10 have the enginesticking through the bulk head... doesnt even make sense.

So its not just me why do such a thing I know on that boat it will fit under the deck

If ytou want it easy to work on make a decent freaken hatch in the wheel house.

This was the engine room on my last boat which was called a 33.8 a 34.5 and a 35 depending on who you talked to with a 12ft beam

Enough room for a full grown man on either side of the engine. Hell when the engine room flooded to the top of the valve cover I swam to the back and locked down the packing nuts. If there isnt engine access its the builders fault IMHO. U can have an inspection hatch AND an access hatch that is much larger.
