Just curious if anyone has been out haddock fishing and how the stock is looking? Hoping to splash in about 2 weeks and get after them!

I haven't been but the reports look good...about a 50/50 cull legal to sub legal, some boats reporting a little more on the sub legal side , that will improve as the season moves forward.. but all seem to be reporting alot of fish, which I would have suspected for this season...good luck

Bunny Clark and Eastman docks both give fishing reports almost daily. Bunny Clark report is great.

Fishing is pretty good with high mix
Of keepers but so far we haven’t found any bigger ones in the 21”+ range as most have been 17-19”

Haddock fishing is great when they slide onto the high ground.80-90ft and if they don't make the length they swim another day...........

Boy Oh Boy, the draggers are having a field day on the bank. North, South and Middle. Covered alot of the bank yesterday, not much to be found.
Really have to go north to get haddock right now. Is there a correlation? What are the draggers targeting?
Just curious if you maybe got an answer to your questions some place else?

Launched out of Marshfield yesterday morning on my buddies 24’ CC. Left the harbor at 6am looking for Mack’s. Stopped About 5 miles out and picked up a couple haddock on sabikis. Switched over to heavier jig and bait and had a steady pick through the morning until the drift picked up and we found a few piles of fish. Headed in around 1pm with our limit and a nice mess of mackerel for shark bait. Might’ve burned 5 gallons. Great day out there!
