Not a down east boat best I can tell, but was a shame when I saw Dave Marciano's Boat "Hard Merchadize" of wicked tuna fame had suck at dock. He posted some pics on face book. Never a good thing to happen.

on other hand, he can probabily order a new downeast boat now.

Yeah, I saw that too. Crazy.

Apparently the boat go hung up on the fixed dock on the incoming tide and that is how she flooded.

Last pic I saw boat was raised and in the travel lift.

How does a throughhull fail at a dock? Electrolysis?

Or fatigue from not being correctly supported/installed. Could have been just a ball valve with no flange. Those are foolish enough. Maybe it was just a hose barbed fitting that let go. Without the evidence shown to everyone it's all second hand suspicion at this point.

Either way it's too bad. Luckily no one was on board, hurt or worse.
