I saw the ad on Maine Craigslist today and figured why not?? As far as i know i have one of the VERY FEW DE boats in southcentral Alaska(i only know of one other DE boat a 25 BHM). Its a 29' H&H lobsterboat finished by Pen Bay boats & powered by a 6068 300hp John Deere diesel. Steve.. welcome.. wow how in the world did that boat make it to Alaska? I absolutely love those H&Hs..and that color scheme is my favorite.. I just sold my little lobster skiff last year that had that color scheme and really toyed with doing that again on the boat I have now.. how fast does that boat go with the John Deere? Dont ever sell that boat

I bought the boat last october in Rockport Ma. This spring i had a Loadmaster trailer built for it and had it towed cross country to Seattle where it was loaded on a barge for the trip to AK. I go easy on the throttle and cruise 15 knots at 2050 rpm and burn aprox 8/gals a hour, she'll go 26 at wot. Boat was built in 2006 and had 800 hours on the meter when i bought it.
I have nothing but praise for the folks at Loadmaster Trailers in Ohio, they built a trailer that fit the boat perfect with only some measurements and a few phone calls. If anyone needs a great guy to move a boat long distance please pm me and i'll give them the info for the guy that moved my boat from Rockport to Seattle, took aprox 6 days and he called or emailed daily to let me know where he was.
