It is definately stable enough to pull traps although it is only a beach boat really. With the 40 Mercury it is doing 33 mph.

I agree with Traditions, very stable. Can be very wet as well if there is a chop. Love mine and would not trade it for any other 14 footer. I am looking into adding spray rails this year. Anyone have any pictures of some with spray rails? I am trying to figure out where to place them where they work and look some what decent.

Hey Richard,those were the days.I have since moved them down a bit,back then we always had a boat load and they needed to be a little higher.I can go over in the shop and take a few pictures if you want.I havent even put her in the water for 2 or 3 years.
