Greetings! It may not exactly fit under the tree, but this very nice 1994 H&H 29', known as the "Osmond (Beal) 29", will be the perfect cruising family gift. This all-composite built (no plywood) downeast boat was laid up by H&H, but built out by WesMac. So, you know it's construction is top quality. It was built by an older couple just to cruise Casco Bay, and that's where it's spent the majority of it's life.

We purchased it last winter for family cruising around the Isles of Shoals, and only put about 35 hours on her. We've become involved in a submerged cultural resource project offshore, that requires a larger boat. We've just picked up a 35' Terry Jason. That's the only reason this boat is for sale.

Here are the details:

  • 1994 H&H "Osmond 29"
  • 29' x 9'7" x 2.5'
  • Solid Fiberglass Hull
  • All Composite topsides
  • MarinePower 370hp EFI, with very easy engine access
  • Approximately 355 hrs
  • Cruise 16kts @ 7gph; WOT 24kts @ 16gph
  • T/70-gal Aluminum Fuel Tanks
  • 25-gal Plastic Water Tank
  • Enclosed Head (but no marine toilet - room for port-a-potti)
  • Sink, pressure water, mirror, cabinet in head compartment
  • V-berths - curtain enclosed - reading lights - overhead hatch - two opening light ports
  • Galley with pressure water - 12/110 Norcold refrigerator - alcohol 2-bruner stove - storage

  • Salon couch sections have storage under, and are moveable to any location.
  • Helm seat
  • Windows have two sliders, and central opening
  • No leaks of any kind
  • Custom curtains on windows, and full draw curtain to enclose salon
  • Gray carpet in salon
  • 12-volt cabin lights
  • One 110vac salon lamp
  • Sliding aft doors with screen
  • Acumet 1-3/4" shaft
  • Bronze 24" x 22" 4-blade Prop (to be completely refurbished Jan 2013)
  • PSS Shaft Seal

  • Garmin Fishfinder
  • Seaworthy Stereo System
  • Bass Breaker Panel
  • Hydraulic Steering

  • Fore/Aft helm seat on Flybridge
  • 15# Danforth Anchor - 150' line/chain
  • New bottom paint, boot top 2012
  • Hull compounded, waxed and buffed 2012
This is a very spacious boat inside, with an approximate 9'x5' open cockpit. The solid teak ladder to the huge rail-enclosed flybridge, has wide treads and is very solid. The exhaust rumble sounds like a vintage Chris-Craft. Very pleasing.

The boat is advertised elsewhere at $39,900, and there has been some interest. However, for a quick sale, we'll consider a lower price. She is currently on blocks at Great Bay Marine, Newington, NH. We have a survey available from last Spring. Call 603 433-3222, anytime. Thank you.
