can anyone tell me which is the better, newmar- expensive, magnum- good price, xantrex, and mastervolt inverter/chargers? which one is the better . can't find any comparison data on the inverter/chargers. and to me they are very mysterious .

Can't speak for the others, but my Xantrex Prosine 2.0 inverter/charger has worked very well for me. I can e-mail you the operation manual if you're interested in perusing it (7 MB file).
