    Hi Everyone,
Picture of a boat my Grandfather built, I'm just wondering if anyone might recognize who might have supplied the plans for it or ever seen one like it. It was a single with keel.
    Kind Regards,
    Russ

I rotated it. I bet that boat was a ton of fun for your Grandfather.

    Thanks Ben,
I went back to find the boat in the mid 80's and found out it burned in a Lake Wylie boat house fire - 6 months before I got there.
I remember him telling me to point the helm towards a bridge point when he gave me the helm at 8 or 10 years old. I've been hooked ever since. My Dad reports he built it in the backyard (3 year build ) in the late 50's and finished it with this new rare covering called fiberglass. I have the weather instruments ( temp and air pressure) mounted in my Cape Dory 28. Don't work anymore but mean a lot.
I'm going through the Atkins' plans you linked. I would have never found these without your input. I hope I can find a close one. My quick browse of the plans seem close.
    Thanks again,
    Russ
