looking for chip for a 2010c

i need a chip for a garmin2010c for the northeast the boat i just bought has this unit but the current chip does not cover where i will be taking the boat coverage stops a the cape cod canal i need coverage from there north and leads would be geat

Have you tried calling Garmin? 1800-800-1620, last I needed a Bluechart they burned one for me, although they may have you purchase the blank 512MB chip and have you purchase an upgrade which is done through their website. You can also say your chip got water logged and won't read anymore, and you tried a friends chip that worked, so it isn't the chart reader. Good luck.
