Early photo of helm 36 bhm when purchased. Major mods to pilot house since then.Make 2 mirror images teak console to level surface, add storage port side, hide wires helm. Will mount 2 upgraded displays easy reach and maintain compass center to shops wheel. Console wider and longer than toys but needed easy access storage waste with curved dash.also check out jewel bhm if still online fashioned teak after that. Will use pocket screws and4200 to install teak consoles

The helm chair slides forward or back for longer and shorter legged folks.
That flat area in front of the electronics is really handy.

I believe keeping the dash area dark helps to reduce eye fatigue. Jay Perotta's image has that look.

Thanks, yes it is. I have a plug on the port side of the helm so it’s easy to charge it.

I use my iPad as a chart plotter, and have been happy with the iNavX app. But I’m always looking for something better.

I also use my iPad as my chartplotter- have both Navionics and iNavX, started playing with Aqua Map this past summer, pretty slick. I like the bottom shading based off army Corps surveys

Pic of my simple dash layout.... when I installed new Simrad Evo3 this past summer, the new box I fabricated was designed to mount ipad w/ Velcro. I use Navionics on it and works awesome as a second display for routing. USB cable to keep it plugged in all time works perfect.

only thing iPad hates it sunlight and heat... does not work well on bridge, but is great at helm.

Those look very nice... What type of finish process did you use to get that matte/ satin result?
