I am looking to trade my 40 Ocean SS sport fish for a 33 to 38 newer down east boat. I have been looking at True Norths and Back Coves but will consider anything in this size range with single diesel.

What year is your Ocean?? We are kinda in the same boat with looking to downsize.

El Mar, what is in that thing for power? Is it the 6 or 8 92's?
I saw one in Block Island this summer totally re-done and it looked very sharp.

Good luck in your trade and/or sell. I think if you are looking to move forward you need to post some pictures of your boat, the approximate value of the vessel and some type of equipment list. 40 Oceans was their most popular line in the fleet and the fact that there are not that many 40s for sale could work in your advantage.
