Sure do miss my setup of the Lowrance Structure Scan. I found this picture last night and thought how neat it was. Just sharing it because of the detail of it. I hope to add it to my new boat but its not a primary need right now. In actuality never really found "fish" with it but found numerous new rocks and bottom features that I never knew were there so in that it paid off for bottom fishing. I know its not as easy to add with wanting a thruhull transducer.

First picture is out in the scallopers in April I believe outside of Sandwich. Look at how you can see the dredge marks.

Second is a little controversial position of the transducer. I liked it because I could read decent bottom up to abut 13kts, still able to make out difference in bottom as well as seeing rocks. Of course some people do not like to mount things in the keel.

Figure I'd just share these on this winter day...

One thing I never got to do, was always curious to do is see what the rips at Chatham looked like and to see if you could run the backside and see the bass...

Larry, you should definitely think about remounting yours to a new location... After what I saw that day I think you could do better in that. Mine was crystal clear.

Look at how clear these pictures were, these are off my unit. You'll notice I learned how to do screen shots rather than take pictures of my screen!

Of course I'd be more than happy to go out on your boat Larry... something faster than a 14kt cruise is always great!
