Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a while and have learned a lot from you all. Mostly good things .
I grew up in Maine and always loved being on the water. Also loved machines, and became an ASE/Toyota certified master tech. At some point I (somehow) managed to switch from pumping out Tacoma frame replacements and sticking Prius accelerator pedals to writing software for technology companies. Over time I've slid back to having my hands covered in grease, but this time with boats instead of cars. Which is how the project™ (ie, wife's nightmare) came to be.
To make a long story short -> I'm (slowly) making an old, soggy, full-displacement trawler great(ish) again. It's been fun to dive back into the deep end of the pool and be forced to swim. Thanks all for the shoulders to stand on.
If anyone is interested, I'm (again, slowly) putting progress on Youtube ->
Cheers
