Metal to Metal adhesive

Inside the filter housing on our Servo Gear transmission the fitting one of the filters forces onto is now loose. Wanted to know if anyone has a suggestion as to what could be used to secure it to the housing again. Seems like it was originally a force fit that will not hold the fitting in place.

Not sure if I have the whole picture here but maybe one of the locktite products might do it. Some are permenant some are made to be undone. Go to the locktite web site and read up on the products, it may be applicable.

CaptLvb,you could try the old J.B.Weld .2 part...it works

You biggest problem isnt finding an adhesive. Its going to be getting the area super clean and oil free so it will stick amd hold over time.
