miniature dory/dinghy coffee table

i am presently seeking plans for an authentic detailed wood framed dinghy/dory to use as a coffee table. I have seen a few of these , but never have a camera or time to make notes when i do. these are mail order items complete with glass top.I have my own woodshop where i can glue up all my bent wood main parts for the framework. I have had no luck trying to find anything on the internet via google. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The John Gardner books have the lines, offsets and construction details to build quite a few of what are considered the best dinghys, dorys and other small rowing boat designs. They are meant to result in fully detailed full-size builds but you could scale them to suit your purpose. If you want true accuracy in a coffee table project, I don't know a better way to get it.

There are at least two volumes called Building Classic Small Craft by John Gardner. You might check your library. Amazon has them for about $45 used. I have two volumes - if you don't find what you want, pm or email me and I can loan them to you or help you get what you want.
