Steve, our weather in Coastal CT has been unbelievably warm, gettin a lot done this winter.
Madchark, The bottom paint is coming right off with a paint scraper. Seems like some wax may have been left on the hull prior to it's first coat. Only about 2 hours to strip one side.
Elmar, stop by anytime, I've got extra scrapers & sanders, we'll cure your Downeast fever from the bottom up.............
