We purchased Pierre April 2022 expecting to own it for years. The insurance now says we cannot have inboard gas boats in my condo shop building. I did not find this out till November 2022 when we hauled.

So we are selling and see if we can find a diesel boat that fits our need. She is stored outside, fully winterized, and covered.

A great running boat that is built very tough, seaworthy, great to fish, cruise, anchor, and play. Hard to let go but if I can’t work on it in my shop it does not work for us. Hope to find a good home for Pierre.

In November the bottom was soda blasted to remove 20 years of bottom paint. Included I will sand, barrier coat, and paint the bottom.

Also included is moving the boat to the boat yard and launching.

Thanks, I am way too busy with other work and travel. Besides that would not be a cost effective move with a gas that only has 220 hrs. But I appreciate the input.

Beautiful boat. What’s the fuel burn at cruise? How’s the range with 100g?

Fuel burn depends conditions. These are flat water numbers: 11 kts, it is 4.25 gph. At 12 kts it is 5.50 GPH, 13 kts 6.75. Those are the speeds we cruised and obviously it goes up in waves. We found the sweet spot around 3150 rpm.

Yes, I just looked up Taylor's, and that is the yard where it use to be in a slip. We picked it up there and moved it to RI last April.

No, $5000 to sand the bottom to 80 grit smoothly, add two coats of epoxy primer, then add two coats of bottom paint. If someone can do it for less or wants to take on the job that is great, but for me that is the cost.

Yes it is the same boat, called Typhoon. Below is is picture when it was at his summer house down the road. He used it for tuna fishing and trips with the family. Great family. Cruised at higher speed then us at 15-16. We kept the speed down to save fuel.

I would say that is accurate. If you like I can get the exact pulpit and swim platform additional lengths? Not sure why but on some of the paper work it says the boat is 27.5'. Not sure what is accurate 27.0' or 27.5'.

Cover will come off in a couple of weeks when it would be easy to measure.

I was on board today to just check everything, and all wintered well. Needs a good scrub from dust and being closed up under cover.
