Need a diesel mechanic close to Brooklyn NY, for John Deere 6081 engine, common rail fuel injection pump issues.

Hello I have a 2006 6081 JD common rail engine . I need a diesel mechanic to check and if it’s the issue then change the fuel injection pump. I’m not sure if it’s the pump. It’s in 31 foot down east boat , I was cruising and it stole while on the way . The computer on the panel says no fuel at the rail , prime the system and restart the engine . I’ve done it 3 time with no success! The fuel tanks are full!

No water , no air in the system . No lines are clogged the fuel flows easily to the pump Ive checked. If you know a diesel mechanic that can help , please share his contact.(My number is (718) 902-8544 ) Thank you.

I didn’t think the 6081 series was a Common Rail engine. Is your lift pump working? I know the lift pump on some of the 6068 engines can be touchy. Any pictures of your engine?

Wound up , later 8.1 are common rail. Most likely a fuel rail pressure relief is bad,

The lift pump is part of the injection pump, it doesn’t come separate. I assume the issue is the lift pump(transfer pump). But can’t buy it separately. The only options is buy reconditioned pump (it’s the whole pump with lift pump) or take it off and rebuild.

I’m just not sure if the pump is the issue.
