So did a ridiculous 24 hour overnight run to Marylands eastern shore but got a great deal, met some amazing and hospitable people and had lots of laughs with friends on this road trip and managed to secure exactly the boat I've been looking for at a great price to boot.

She is 24' and 9'6" beam. Owner told me he was out fishing across from a buddy in a 42 chessie deadrise and it got snotty and he stayed fishing and the 42 beat feet and headed in. Cant wait to run her.

Wow! That boat has a serious sun shade. Are you keeping it? If so, you'll save money on sunblock, and it will be easy to shrink wrap. :D

You came down to my neck of the woods. Nice looking boat. I can't recall if I've ever seen it before. That's a crabbers canopy on her. Most guy wouldn't last the summer running trot lines without it.

Looking forward to it too. I think the sunshade is going to undergo an extensive modification or removal. And yes it is rosewood.

So been a little busy with family stuff, but the boat finally arrived from Maryland, Mike from Zee Transport did a great job and at a great price. So I figure while its not a complete refit or rehab project, there are things im doing to her to get her in shape to go and ill post pics along the way, try and do the before and after pics too.

Got prop and shaft cleaned and polished yesterday, also sanded entire bottom going from Red to green, as soon as the weather looks better.

Also can anyone tell me what that square plate is on the bottom of the hull? Its bolted through the bottom on all four corners and there is no opening to the hull, and there is no patch inside the boat, i was thinking an old zinc mount?

Been working hard snaking and running wires, put in new two battery bank and ran all new wire to 2 new distribution panels, new main fuse off new 2 battery selector switch and have run and connected VHF, Cabin lights, and nav lights, tomorrow doing anchor light, bilge pump and float switch, and drilling hole for new Airmar through hull ducer. Next is deck lights, radome, and gps antennas. And then the chartplotter and back up chartplotter. Will take some pics and post when done.

Got Radome, anchor light, external gps antennas, and got both gps and the radar screen mounts installed, wiring is completed to the new battery bank. Tomorrow is install on bilge pump and drilling for new through hull ducer. New raw water strainer and underwater LEDs are on order. If I have enough time Deck lights, and rod holders are going in too. will take some more pics tomorrow. Had to clean up and run tonight so just took one. Warm weather this weekend, so boot stripe, zincs and bottom paint. And should be getting hull lettering mid week next week.
