Furuno 585,nice unit not to big,capable of 1000 watt.Around 1300.00.In my opinion its a Furuno or nothing.Some people like the Hondex.I guess its what your used to.I got my first Furuno when I got rid of my paper machine so thats what Ive been used to.

3rd for Furuno. Got a 582 on my Parker and love it!
Especially the tuning knobs as opposed to buttons which are a pain in the ass to press repeatedly when adjusting gain.
I like to keep the unit on manual.

The transducer depends on what you want to spend.For a 1000 watt thru hull will be around $500.00,as around $200.00 for a 600 watt.For most uses the 600 watt is fine.

I have this puppy in my Parker and its the cats ass!!!
No fairing block needed, I can read bottom at all speeds, shows a ton of detail compared to the transom mount that was on there.
The deadrise on the 2530 is 21 degrees so it works very well.
Cutting the 3" hole in the bottom is a little un-nerving but no worries.

Another one here with the 585 & 1k transducer.
Only bad thing I can say is it doesn't have all the tuning knobs the prior 582 did.
Shift is the one knob I really wish it had.
Been thinking about upgrading to the 295 and would have to upgrade the transducer also though.
