Here she comes! Sorry I didn't get many pictures of the hull construction but I was busy on another project. The hull was Awlgripped with Jet Black and then it was roller coated with a material like tool dip to protect the paint while we build her.

The shaft assembly came in at about 300 pounds...the real problem could have been the coupling is taper fit to the shaft like the propeller and come fully assembled and really needs to be installed before the engine goes in so you don't have to remove the coupling just slip it in from the forward end before you set the engine.

Viking 43 SOLD, now looking to DE
Wow!

Curious, what cost difference is there is going up from a QSM to a C-18? Obviously the motor is the biggest part, but bigger shaft, mounts, exhaust, etc etc.

Great project and thanks for sharing.

Looks great Ken, the picture looks like some modifications to the roof, did you have to remove and build up for one of those tall owners?

Roughly 60k, what I didn't figure in was the rudder port 2 1/2" +800.00
