Hi, everyone. I am new to the forum as a result of my recent acquisition of a 22' Sisu. My father has owned the boat for over 20 years, and has reached an age where he can no longer use it. He has given it to me in hopes that I restore it and enjoy it. That being said, I figured this would be a good place to get some guidance from the experts. The boat was re-powered in the late 80's with an 88hp 4JH series Yanmar. The hull and decks are in perfect shape, no structural issues at all. Cosmetically it needs paint, varnish, upholstery, etc. My goal is to make it a pocket cocktail cruiser/picnic boat. My first project is to locate a suitable trailer for the boat. Can anyone here recommend a trailer builder that has experience setting up a trailer for a boat with the deep keel configuration of the Sisu? I am located in Florida and most of the trailer guys down here don't see boats with a keel. Ultimately, I would like to find a used trailer already set up to fit the boat. I will post before, during and after pictures of the restoration as it progresses. Thanks in advance.

Loadrite. I'll see if it has any model #'s on it when I get a chance. Only problem is you will need a real deep ramp to use it. I just got this boat so I have not tried to launch it yet. What kind of cruise speed are you getting with the yanmar?

Thanks, the pic helps. Mine runs about 14 knots cruise tops at 17. Slow, but very economical.

Load Master in Ohio built the trailer for my 29 H&H. They know how to build them and they treat you right. They added a 6ft extendable tongue so i don't have to get the brakes wet on the truck when launching. Delivered it to Mass with 3 other trailers on top of it and we shared the delivery expenses.
