Here is another. This is a video of our first run. The previous owner was nice enough to take this and send it to me. He was a super nice guy to deal with and came by after I pulled the boat to help me winterize it and go over all my questions.
Thank you Eastporter. I think I fixed it. I should change the title to "New to me posting pictures on the forum" Lol
Those are great hulls, a buddy of mine lives on his all summer with his wife, fishes it, and goes all over the coast. He loves it.
Good luck with your new boat. I ave an 82 with a 315 hp Yanmar. I like your bow rail. I'm considering adding one in the spring.
Thanks guys. I have only had it out twice and it seems like a great boat so far. My only concern is that I do a lot of bottom fishing on the drift and I am worried she will roll a lot. I will deal with that as it comes next season. For now.. New Year everybody!
It will roll and you will get used to it. Friends will have to get their sea legs the first few times aboard. I never felt that the rolling of my 22 and 30' Sisus hindered my bottom fishing in anyway. I think I caught more bottom dwellers in my 30 than any other boat I ever owned. Best of luck and Happy New Year to you too! Best, Frank
Yeah they roll. As Frank said you'll get used to it. I'm on the western south shore of Long Island so I probably fish the same general area as you. 90% of my fishing is on the anchor. One thing I see is it can be a real challenge getting it to back down straight when I'm setting out two anchors. A lot of correcting is required.
Shark 49, Thanks I thought about that as well. What Drift sock are you using if you don't mind me asking? Someone else told me "Rocker Stoppers" work. I looked at them and really don't want to be bothered with that.
