New to Site-

Hi everyone,

I am new to the site. I have lingered around for a while now and finally decided to pull the trigger! So now I will cut to the chase..

I am looking for a downeast style boat 20-28' that my old man and I casn work on. I just completed another project and my father and I have always wanted to work on a Downeast/lobster style boat..I have checked all the local CL ads, etc (boston area) but figured I would check in with you guys!

Any leads/inforamtion would be greatly appreciated!

there is a Susi (I think) w a for sale sign on it at Scituate Boat Works (Youngs old place), prob 28'. You could call the boat works or i will grab the # tomorrow when i am down that way. Its a nice boat, mid 80s i think.

If I am thinking of the same boat I think it is 30. Either way it is a nice boat and has been for sale for a while. I did see it posted for sale somewhere. I'll have a look around.

F/V- 34 is a bit larger than I would to work on-at this time, and i would prefer glass-

Mainely-I do not have a specifid Mfr- As far as work, Anyting from just a simple egniner replacement/ rebuild to stringer replacement

She needs a new top, hull was re-planked in '09 if memory serves me right.
