Hey Ya'll,
Just found this great looking site and registered. My name is Joe. I've been commercial fishin on all kinds of boats for over 30 years, including some downeasters like a 40' youngbrothers a 35' bruno, a 42' Duffy and owned my own 35' Duffy (F/V Sea Dancer)for 14 years.
I currently own and operate a 1988 26 Seaway pilothouse with brackett mounted, outboard power. She (F/V Sea Dancer Too) has been fishing for just over a year on the east coast of Fl after a 2 year total refurb.
I am looking forward to learning more and even better if I can be of any help to my fellow Downeast owners and enthusiasts!
Thanks, Joe:cool:

Joe welcome aboard. Are they beating the sh-- out of you down there on regs. To
Oh yeah, Things have been getting extra tough since 2006, not that it was easy prior to that but we're trying to hang tough and fish for the scraps they leave open to us. I'm in aquaculture of clams down here too. It helps with some of seasonal gaps in fishin.

The link to my rebuild is in the outboard powered downeast thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Jo

I remember your boat from the THT thread. Very nice work by the way!
