Newbie to the DBF , and just acquired a SISU 22 sandy victim . would love to hear from owners of SISU 22's that have been repowered. this one had a little 4 cylinder mercruiser. I'm thinking a 300 ford 6 as I don't want to reconfigure the engine stringers. or if someone has a line on a 292 chevy 6 cyl. as they seem popular in some of the older wood boats.
As you can read into this, I'm talking old school , low tech.

Not an expert on sisu's, but go diesel if you are repowering. Upfront cost but pays off over time.

I will post some pics soon as I am building cabin parts and windshield for standind shelter at helm off-boat and the install in a weekend (if all my measures are right)
