North East Canyons Report??

Any word on how the fishing has been in the canyons ...Atalntis to Hydro???

Spent the weekend down between east and west Atlantis and got 7 yellows to about 40lbs, nothing great but did get the lines tight. The water is a blue gray color, 72-75 degrees and loaded with bait, whales, and dolphin. Lines went in at the top of West Atlantis and within 30 minutes we had 3 fish slow picking through the morning with only a couple more yellows while trolling over to East Atlantis, the bite shut down during the day and picked back up when we got back to the bait we saw earlier in the day and around six. We did nothing on the night bite except have our sword bait beat up by something.
Most fish caught early and late took purple/black squid bars and the fish caught late morning took the rainbow machine bar.

Sounds like you hd a good time. Probably a beer or 2 between bites? Were the seas calm?

It was hot so a few cold ones were in order, the weather held out for us and it was calm. Come by if you like a chunk of meat.
