I am really hoping that comment doesn’t start a political argument. I am tempted to remove it just to be on the safe side, or maybe counter with one from the other side of the house.
Ski house @ -75 equals really “board”. LOLJust got to the ski house in New Hampshire, got out to pump gas and had to jump back in the car because of Cold it was. -24 here and it fells like -65 with wind.

my propane generator didn't start on it's auto run function. Went to the boat for the block heater....by the time I got back, the sun must of it hit it long enough. Started in first crank.
Sorry to hear of the issues WoundUp, it's not fun. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I miss the target often
Boat was froze up good. Didn't attempt to start, no need to. Seasmoke on the water.

The next deep freeze will be again tonight. If you got a small welder just create a dead short on both sides of where you think it is frozen and it will thaw out in a very short time. I have about 20 of those thaw machines and every one of them is working somewhere this morning. So it’s about -15 out, 10 past midnight we lost power, go outside and coax the diesel genset to life and it lasts about 10 minutes before the fuel gels. Run to my shop and grab the 2000w Yamaha just to run the furnace in the house. One of my zones froze as well so that’ll be a fun experience when we thaw back out. All in all I’d say I have some prep work to do before the next deep freeze, starting with a good anti-gel in the diesel.
