I have 2 antenna's that connect to my 952X, one is a square shaped antenna with the numbers AN205-P gps/beacon antenna printed on it
The other is a pie plate shaped antenna with Aero Antenna Technologies Inc
At 7530 1NW printed on it.
The unit plays fine with both antennas hooked up to it but if i unhook one of them(forgot which one) i lose the differential signal. So how much accuracy am i losing by not using the diff beacon signal?? Last year i didn't even have the antennas mounted on the roof i just laid them on the dashboard behind my electronics and everything worked fine. I don't want to have to drill 2 holes in the roof to run the wires so can i run and be safe/accurate with only using one antenna. If i need to run both how close to each other can they be? I thought to mount them on a T shaped mount and then could have both on one fold down mount.
The two antennas
you can just see the antennas behind the 952
