My last toy for a while just showed up... For over a week fought the nse8 vs nss8 debate. Went for the NSS after my pocket book is empty. I loved my nse8 for two years on my last boat.

Anyone have any inputs? This will also be my first 3G radar.

You can also see a seaboard marine after cooler service kit too!

Wife nearly had a crap finding it, can't hide this anymore.

Glad I went with the NSS8 vs. Lowrance 7 Touch. Tonight I got to play with a Lowrance Touch 7 and just didnt seem "finger" friendly. Granted this was only playing with it for ten minutes at Bass Pro Shops.

congratulations! great unit. really love the NSS interface, especially compared to Garmin's OS, and I agree about the HDS Touch being a little less intuitive when swapping screens and such. Also a good bang for the buck. Enjoy!

Was the 8 really worth the added cost over the 7? Just seems like so much dough.

WOrking on pricing a 7 now.

Lol that is the running joke in my house now. "Honey this is the last thing I have to buy for the boat"!

Good luck with the new toys
