Nice work but it doesn't look like it's well cared for by the owner. For 390k you could at least clean it before taking pictures.

Emme is Northern Bay 38

"it's a 42" is in reference to John asking if Emme was going to be replaced with a 43, the model we have is an OEM42 not a 43.

hope this clarified things

I pass this boat every time i decide to go west, and also see this boat on the fishing grounds, a truly beautiful boat, only thing i noticed is that it seems loud when she passes by. I have never been on the boat so i cant speak out of experience but from the water she seems loud.

Do you split the exhaust at the riser or down stream? Fancy riser or just a y in the exhaust system?

The way that everything was laid out below decks we decided to mimic my own boat and split the single 8" wet exhaust into two 6's. The 8" feeds into a split tee with a diverter to keep the two pipes similarly supplied with equal amounts of exhaust and water flow.

Took me a while to look through all the construction photos, doesn't look like I took a photo of the exhaust layout. Closest I can do is this shot down in shaft alley. You can see the crossover pipe on the left hand side of the photo and gives you a rough idea as to the space that you can gain when splitting the exhaust. In the area inboard of the exhaust there is a tuna tank (starboard) and a livewell & dry storage area (port) all insulated and able to be flooded and drained. Genset exhaust runs between the livewell and the dry storage area to discharge on the port side.

I don't think it's just this boat that is loud.....there is a 40 RP in town that has the same power and they sound the same....it has single 10 inch pipe.
