    OK I'm bored. Has anyone ever started a thread on here with pictures of boats that had mishaps or what were they thinking when they did that?

    I'll start it off feel free to add...

    Ooops. Martha I told you those cinder blocks were not going to hold!!

    wow thats a hell of a twisted tanker? Any story behind the picture, tank washing or welding without inerting the tanks?

    Small Korean tanker. (Not that the nationality has anything to do with the ability to screw it up).... A ship this size won't normally have an inert gas system. Reportedly, they were tank cleaning. I think 6 crew were killed. Bad scene.

    Anyone have pictures of the Bouchard barge that blew up on Staten island, wanted to see what that was like.

    Ahh I love company's that hire kids out of school as port engineers...

    Duke, thanks... always amazes me to see photo's like this... I did some time with Bouchard out of school.

    A friend of mine had pictures of the LMSR USNS SISLER that had a fire in Boston Ship Repair. I sailed on a sister ship for 6 years to her. Amazed me to what burnt and what didn't...

    We'll we know in Maine, they beach boats to work on the bottom... is that how they do it down south maybe?

    When I first got into boats a wise Capt. told me: always carry a scrub brush, that way if you ground her your ego can stay intact :D

    Looked out my window here in HK and saw this that I believe is a bulk cement ship. They brought barges in to stabilize it and it took three days to get it resolved. I guess load master was asleep?
