I have a pair of outrigger poles from my old boat that were gunnel mounted. I'm looking to re-use them on my new boat and mount them to the side of the house. I've searched the web for side mount brackets and they're selling for $600+. The cost seems absurd and it seems that the right sized stainless tube and some through bolted pipe supports should do the trick. Any thoughts or recommendations? Here's a pic of the bottom of the poles:

Thanks very much for any help.

Thanks for the response, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I couldn't find a number for LD marine welding on line. MDI45: I'll PM you to get the contact.
Whatta Catch: where did you get yours or did you make them? It looks like those would be perfect for a side mount application.
I guess I am being cheap, but I have more projects than I have money!
