On my Midland skiff my wife is put-off by the low gunwales and lack of railings or life lines that my sailboat has. I would leave her at home but her truck tows better than mine.
Last week I finally succumbed to pressure. I beer bribed a friend with a hydraulic bender and made railings from 1'' ERW and 2" angle. Now I need to paint them. I am thinking of using Interlux Primecoat two part epoxy primer with Brightsides top coat. Does this sound like a good paint schedule for non-stainless railings?
I'm open to other suggestions. Powder coating is out at $440 .
