Just picked up a "few" items for my Sisu from Precision yesterday for my Sisu project. I sent a huge list of items to Chris (Wharfrat) from Precision about 3 weeks ago and after some communication back and forth, mostly him helping me make sure I have the best/most compatible parts for what I am doing, he ordered them from a number of suppliers.

List included:
water heater
sidepower thruster w/tube
fume detector
fire extinguisher system
dock box
cabin lighting
transducer
a pile of electrical wiring
all the pumps for the boat (bilge, washdown, water, and backups)
Volvo QL tabs
windlass
rode w/chain
West system epoxy (yes epoxy :) )
bronze sea cocks

and a about 6 more boxes of stuff I cant remember now. Price could not be beat and it all came in undamaged and on time. Best part is Chris' attention to detail. He is more interested in making it right than selling you whatever you ask for and is willing to do his homework. I was very satisfied.

Thanks Chris!

Vodka (pronounced vokka) men! My gin days are over. Gin makes you sin (fight or f%*k in my case- nothing in between). Stopped at the lickher store on the way home. Tito's vokka in case you havent tried it is very good. Even better with tonic and lime.

yes huge haul but the price couldnt be beat IMO. Good to have all this crap so I can finally start putting parts back on the boat rather than cutting them off. Its been a while...

Hey Hey! I just had one of my local customers pop in who also is on the forum and told me about this post. Thanks for the love TL, and I'm sorry I couldn't beat CostCo on the price of that tonic water. Still could have kept it all in house!
Seriously though, really do appreciate the post, it's been a lot of fun working with you. While I admit electronics are my favorite part of each boat, I started my career humping the basics, cutting yards of glass mat, feet of line, and carrying cases of non-tox. Still dear to my heart. LEDs for the engine room are en route!

Thanks again for all the business!

I have had one in my boat for 14 years. that's about the 4 th boat i've had one in and wouldn't run a gasser or anything with propane without one. my sensor seems to give out ever 2 or 3 years. It is low in the bilge and occasionally get a little spray on it. Anyway that's a whole lot of safety protection for the money.

I had a broken one in the boat when I got it... Yes cheap insurance and I will be glad to replace it when the time comes.

Boat had CNG tank too. I like that over propane but the hoses were like swiss cheese. Not sure how the surveyor overlooked that small detail.. SHould be nice and dry in my boat with any luck.

Hmm, what kind of LED lights for the engine room??

Lumitec makes them- I just wanted them because they were reasonable, cool, waterproof and explosion proof for the bilge.

Wharf Rat will have to give us model #'s. It was a last minute change for the better.

I have a feeling if there was vodka and tonic around your shop that the bottles would be empty.

If you need any advice installing the Sidepower thruster let me know. I installed one about 3 years ago.

Getting drunk & working on a boat might be the best way to spend one's time.

Either one is great but I am not sure about the combination? Maybe work then drink.

My hull is cored (not sure how far down in this area yet) so will have to work with that which is the most complicated part IMO. Plan is to leave the tube long/fair out the front of the tube so you cant see into the tube when in front of the boat (this method described on many websites).

Have any pictures? Can you walk me through what you did? What weight fiberglass mat to use is my biggest question. Would love any advice please.
