Bryan, wouldn't that be Smog !! ? :D.

Old,

That is called fog.

Couple years back I spent 5 days there end of July.
You got a desert about an hour north (or south..can't remember) of San Fran and 56F water in the bay with a prevailing wind off the ocean.:D (think west coast design....big rudders mounted off the stern....steering leverage):D
Dam place is foggy most every day til about noon.

Not a bad place to "visit". BUT, the area is run by leftist lunatics (Nancy Pelosi and her pals);)

Definitely fog. Amazing how the stuff rolls in and out here.

First time on the west coast for me. Got in yesterday afternoon, going to explore the water front today. Any DEBF members in San Fran??

Temp is a lovely 50-70 degrees. Glad I left the hot mess going on back home.

El, last night, 11 pm here in MA. 87F, muggy as a MF..er

I hope you packed a windbreaker for sightseeing out there !:D

El Mar if you haven't done this before and you get the time, definitely take a boat out to Alcatraz or a harbor cruise that goes around the island. Blue Line cruises I think runs a lot of them, I don't remember out of which pier. Alcatraz is cool as shit, but it's like a half day thing, you spend a lot of time wandering around the island and that can get boring. The harbor cruises take you out and around Alcatraz, over to the GGB, and back. Cool way to spend a couple of hours.
