Meh………….
I’ve repaired a lot of them.
Basically you have an accident try to make sure it’s one of the bolt on panels (doors,fenders,hood,trunk)
Cab corners, bed side panels, roof, not fun.
Self piercing rivets no fun & pretty much unavailable to anyone but the factory and certain authorized dealers.
And all that supposed weight savings doesn’t add up to better fuel mileage!
But hey……….
They solved the Notorious Ford rust/rot issue.

If you do crash…..
The aluminum tears like a razor blade.
I’m shocked Ford hasn’t had a major law suit because it happened.

They still haven’t solved the notorious Ford front end “Death Wobble”

Nice looking truck. You do not see a lot of regular cab long bed trucks anymore. I have a diesel Ram like that with a manual so it is a real unicorn.

Reg cab long bed is the best truck setup for doing truck things, I had 2 and loved them. Slap a ladder rack on that thing and you can move anything you want without question.

For anything else they suck. Crew cab is good when you need to move more people than plywood.

Get a tonneau cover that is easy to remove. I love mine and take it on and off all the time depending on what I need to do. If i'm moving wood or tools around I take it off, when im going North for the weekend I put it back on and it keeps the cargo dry and out of the weather.

I have a 2021 reg. Cab long bed and have had no probelms so far with 38k on it now. Did you get the 6.2?
