Due to new products being developed all the time I would call the tech folks, see what your options are for the two materials you are bonding. What are your spray rails made of? I have a Plexus cartridge gun in the shop, it's made for a double tube, but maybe they have a single part product for your needs. Good luck,

Thanks I didn’t see that on thier site. MA310/330 seems like it’s what I need. I’ll wait to see what Gary says tomorrow.

Gmac, stupid questions , do you thru bolt as well or just glue? Also, if just gluing do you need heat to make bends in the rails and how do you hold the rails in place while the glue sets up?
thanks, Tom

No screws or bolts, cored hull and was during refit so not good access inside.

Several hands and bracing, rail was warm from sun but no heat applied. Everything fit, tested and ready before glue. It sets pretty fast once start. I actually think when its done with Plexus is better then bolting. Will never move ,warp or crack at bolts etc. Tested before installation, it would separate in fiberglass and not break at the bond.

( found this on my old thread, repost)

Lifting rails for the 30 Sisu

Thread from when I did mine. Reps set me on the right path but I went with 45 min cure time at my working temp which was over 70 btw. I was happy to have that much working time so I could clkean up and shape my filleted corners with a plastic trowel/knife cut to a tight radius. Wiped it with dripping wet acetone rages and came out nice. Can’t imagine that shit wouldn’t kick above 50 but they will tell you. This stuff is amazingly strong don’t skimp on the proper respirator. Mine are still there after 7 years or so.
