PORTLAND - City officials have shut down three waterfront businesses, including the well-known Porthole restaurant, citing numerous health code violations including a "serious rat infestation."

Is j's oyster bar still open in portland? 25 plus years ago those short denim skirts and glasses stored in racks way above the bar made a big impression on a young man.

Glad when I was there outside this summer I only had beer from the tap outside. Dinner at Anthony's followed and find this report pretty disgusting. I believe this will be tough to recover from as the locals will shy away for a long time. Then again sounds like no excuse to me.

I was up in portland all weekend, had tickets to a comedy show on saturday at the comedy connection, of course they got shut down the night I had tickets.
Went to most of the other bars in town instead, plenty of good spots to check out.
