I'm thinking I may need to have the pitch adjusted (reduced) on a 25 x 26 4 blade with cup. Any reccomendations that do this kind of work ? I realize I'll probably have to ship it. I'm in Little Rock,ARKANSAS
Before you re-pitch, make sure your motor is performing 100%. Fresh fuel filters, clean bottom & photo tach the boat to make sure your tach is giving you the correct RPMs.
Next how short are you. I would remove the cup before reducing pitch. Cupping can cost you as much a 100 RPMs. Plus taking the cup out is a lot more forgiving then re-pitching your wheels.
