30" LOL, going to build this model over the winter!
Not sure I'll be building out hull #1 on the new 30 Calvin.
I'd like to have a 1/2 a day on a finished 30 Calvin hull/boat in really lousy weather before I "pull the $$trigger$$" on a new build.
My "new" plan for now is to scatch the small DE "2nd boat" idea, spend next spring making a trip up to Stewart's shop and others and spend some time on a local to me 29 H&H in the slop. Wind/rain, heavy seas and get an idea of what a new DE can or cannot do for our boating.
If I want to make a move to a single engine keel DE boat, I'll put the Blackifin on the market and see what happens. Depending on how high the "fever is" for a new DE will dictate how short of "haircut" I'll except for the Blackfin. LOL
I owned 2 boats once for about 2 years. Did not sell the 28 Betram FBC before I bought the Blackfin, oops!
