Pulpit looks good how’s the fishing been ?

Have only run one trip and it went poorly. Boat did fine, but I drove too far and kinda screwed up on time management. Also don’t quite have electronics dialed in so I was looking for fish with only a couple know spots to serve as fall back. Waiting on a fabricated part to get my sat compass mounted (which also serves as furuno chart plot antenna) and that will change things for me. Hoping to go this weekend. Especially after that storm just came through, but we’ll see.

Pretty sharp. Not done yet, but got wood and deck drilled today. Fishing tomorrow. Monday backing plate and adhesive.

Told my wife the boat now a little bit like a hoopdie. Got some age on her, comfortable, cosmetically challenged, but a real nice hood ornament.

Also replaced rooftop AC unit for the second time in 1 month. Long story…

Pulpit looks nice!
(Is that exposed balsa core where your rode goes thru the deck? Might want to hit that with some epoxy while you’re in there.)

Thanks.

Foam core and appears to have been just resin coated. Brittle I’m sure, but no cracking and I’m sure it soaked in a little bit as well. Not pretty and less than ideal, but good enough for time being.
