Here are three "downeasters".

Two 33s and a 22.

All three are either biult down or skeg "keel" boats.

True downeasters in my view !

Outboards need not apply! LOL

For what it's worth,

How bout this boat?
I'm considering this little (one like it) 22Weboc for my personal "lobster boat"/run around boat
Hauler and davit, one man operation !

Solves my problem of lobstering alone. Cheaper than selling the BF and buying or building a 30-33 DE.

Who designed the 33 Flowers?

The Flowers 33 was a Calvin Beal design that Ken Flower modified to a semi built down hull from a skeg design. The benifit is there is no engine box and can handle larger HP and bigger props.

Ken's 33 is a big boat for its size, it holds most the beam to the transom which is good for carring traps or fishing with a charter.
