Registering "homemade trailer" in mass

Gotta register my trailer which I dont have a title for. Anyone done this recently? I just dont want to make 2 trips to the registry and want to make sure I have the right paper work.

I just went through this, tell your Ins type up a form to submit to the RMV stating it's Homemade. Tell the RMV that you put $100 into building it.

My Ins gave me the form filled out with all the info I wanted to give them, then I brought it to the RMV myself. The trailer was rated for under 3,000lbs so no inspection required. I had to pay the tax on the $100 I said I put into it.
