Wondering if any from the group could provide some advice or pictures of their removable stern or open stern? I've seen a couple that Farrins (California based boat) built and don’t really understand the time or cost of the project... The boat is great currently, here is my issue...We use the boat as a family cruiser and need a good RIB W/ outboard once we reach a destination or within out harbor. I can’t find a setup I like with dingy davits or disassembling and stowing on cabin roof. I would like to be able to pull a 11ft Rib into the cockpit while underway and set the stern back in place when not in use as the RIB is stored at home. The davits seem to place a lot weight aft and effect trim and as-well limiting view from the cockpit. Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.
