I have a b/w 2:1 hooked to a westerbeke . the trans came off of a volvo gas 120 hp and the westerbeke is a 50hp. I'd like to get opinions on whether I should keep the trans cooler or cap the holes and forget about it .
I would think you would want to keep the cooler.What would cool the gear?Are you thinking that 50 hp wouldnt require a cooler?I used to have a direct drive BW on the front of my 671 for a power take off and I had a cooler on it.
