Replacement Fuel Tanks

Who makes aluminum fuel tanks int the Northeast? My port 130 gallon fuel tank developed a samll hole in bottom and started leaking. It is well ventilated but 32 years old and I want to replace rather than patch.

The original tank was made in Florida. I've read a few tank replacement threads so I think there must be tank fabricators closer.

I used Speedy Tanks, quick turn around, back of the fisherman I think. Was nice and simple to use, great contact with the guys...

A few years ago I picked up a QDX prop, I believe, from NE Propeller. Let me tell you I will have them do my tanks in the future. Great people, the owner I believed showed me the whole operation. I just went to pick a new prop up from them. I was with my 1.5yr old daughter at the time. So he helped carry the prop out to my car, then we were bullshitting, told him about me and Mass. Maritime etc. Then he was like let me show you the operation, I told him not with my daughter as they were all welding. He walked in, everyone stopped welding/grinding and got a tour... Nice people, goes a long way...

I used New England Propeller for both of mine, recommend if putting in a sending unit go with the Weemer
