I want to put a pair on my hardtop facing outwards to bring up bait in the canyons.

Narrow beam, wide angle lens or the Diffused lens work best?

This link shows you the light pattern for each light, spot/diffused. I just bought a set of duallys (diffused) for deck lights and the 10" combo spot/flood for a driving light.
